LS7 Fiero swap
I remember back in the day that the first V8 top chop fiero rolled out of Archie's that thing was awesome. Or going down to Daytona with them for the yellow top chop. Back then he didn't have the LSx motor swap done yet, but was working on it, they had the intake turned around and it looked awesome, no such issues with LSx. Good times.
Personally I like finale best out of them all, but that thing looks MEAN!!!!
Fantastic looking Fiero, I had an '87 and still regret selling it! Can't wait to see more about your build!
for a moment?I'm the proud owner of the LS2 Fiero (white Ferrari 328 Replica) that Troy showed above (link to build thread: http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/068941.html )
Like Troy, I'm using the GM F40 6 speed manual (which was used in the Pontiad G6 for two years and is still used in the Saab 9-3). This car is crazy, stupid fast. I don't get the chance to drive it as much as I should, but I had it out for a couple of hours on Saturday, and came home with a big smile on my face. The car pulls like crazy in 2nd gear, and 3rd/4th aren't bad either!
The LS2 totally changed the personality of the car. The motor is amazingly flexible, I've had it down to 40 MPH in 6th gear and it doesn't complain. On the other hand, a full thottle stomp in third gear will draw the attention of every trooper in a three state radius.
I CAN'T WAIT to see what an LS7 Fiero can do!!!!!

and IIRC its actually easier to do something as simple as spark plug change with V8 in there than it was with stock v6.
They are 1.625" tube & 2.5" collector. We will have a set of 1.75" tube 3" collector headers that will be ready before we install this engine for the last time.
