Power Steering, how do you do it?
I have noticed most people don't talk about the hoses from the power steering box to the pump. How do you manage this? I am pretty sure the new pulley/pump must be metric, and the box on my old '70 pickup must be SAE, so do you get special lines made up, or does someone sell them already? Just trying to get the picky details out before I run into them.

On the output side of the pump the line actually threads into another fitting which if I remember correctly has a 7/8" hex on it. This fitting holds the spring to set the pressure so be cautious not to lose the spring when removing it. Take the same fitting out of your '70's pump and check to see if they have the same threads, they should. Swap the fitting from the old pump to the new one and you can now use your old lines.
