Got it to work last night. With the #1 pill the car would start with no throttle and had amazing throttle response. Well I plotted a timing curve and it started at 0*@0rpm went ot 17*@1000rpm and then 28* from 3k up. Well with that I had to give it gas to start it and it would sputter when I revved it until it got above 1000rpm's and then it would clean up.

I then jumped timing at 100rpm's to 17* and now it is back to no throttle start and a nice responsive clean rev. What kind of timing curves are you guys running?

I haven't yet started on the carb, but I honestly don't think it is going to need much tuning.

yeah good point. the pill must not be in when the key is turned on. pulling it out after you've powered it up does nothing

i just used the factory MAP sensor for now. But I also have an older style 2 bar that i will need to change the harness plug to get working. any vacuum source will do.

Can you run without the map sensor? Would it work better with it??

you can run with or without it. i've used it to add some advance which cleans up the exhaust at idle and part throttle. once you get wot the map reverts back to fixed max timing of about 29-30 deg which suited our UK fuel on the dyno.

SMAX, here is a copy of my curve. i had a someone plot my graph for me so i cant explain the dip in the curve. i think im going to remove it.

anyway same concept 17* from 0-1000 and then a slow ramp to 29* at 3000

http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p...dls1timing.jpg

no issues at all. i can rev the hell out of the car. it starts, idles, and shuts off with no hassle.

i just used it as a breather. i think its a really tick piece since my valley tray doesnt have the ugly knock sensor holes in it. i have a PCV valve in my drivers side valve cover that goes to the back of the carb. no need for power brakes, im running a hydroboost.

dcx-where you have your breather, i was thinking of putting one-Jegs sells an adapter(quick fuel, i think) that has an o ring and large nut, then you install the breather in it-no welding, just cut a hole
i used them on v/c's before, pretty cool

It weighs around 3100-3200lbs with me in it. The stall is a continental 4k nitrous stall. I haven't made it to the track yet, but I am hoping to get it close to 10's N/A and then put the nitrous to it. I know it feels really strong.
