help no spark suddenly

help no spark suddenly my 02 ls6 suddenly wont start. it is not getting any spark. it ran two weeks ago when i went to warm it up and it ran fine. no work has been done on any wiring or the engine. the computer turns on and turns the fuel pump on, no fuses are blown, and no wiring has changed from two weeks ago. i have not had a code reader on it yet, it wasnt with me. there is a full 20 gallaon fuel cell. and there is plenty of fuel pressure. take the plugs out and it is getting gas so the computer is firing the injectors just not the coils? last time i checked with the wiring diagram they ram off the same fuse.
Without looking at the codes, thats tomorrows project, i was thinking it maybe the crank position sensor? because isnt the timing determined by that?
Any help, or ideas, or insight would be greatly appreciated.

nothin huh? ive been reading a lot of the past threads on this and it seems it may be the ground or a bad switched ignition source which doesnt make any sense since the wiring hasnt changed at all. Any help would be great.
