X2. So just get the new sensor, plug, and wire it up like you said and the temp gauge and oil pressure will work?

The oil pressure gauge not working has nothing to do with the temp gauge. Most likely you have wires crossed on the connectors that connect the engine harness to the body under the dash. The wire locations are different for the LT1 and the LS1, so if you didn't move them they are probably wrong.

Jason and Shon I hate to bring this thread back up but I still havent done this and I need it explained a little more clear cause I am just not getting it. Sorry guys! I also need help getting my odb2 plug working

Shoot me a PM with what you have done, how your harness was set up, what's not working and what you have done/replaced to try to fix it. Also need to know what sensors you are using.
