Default Any new ideas for swaps?

Howdy,

It has been a long time since I have browsed this board but I have recently re-caught the LS1 bug. In high school I had a green 98 rcsb Chevy 1500 that I had an LS1 put into and I used to cruise this place every day (usually most of the day haha). Unfortunately my second year of college I rear ended someone and lost that truck and being in college I was really in no place to have this sort of hobby.

But now I am about to graduate and will have 1.) An income and 2.) a place to work on cars! With that said, I want to do another LS1 project. My first though was to build a tribute truck to my old one. Build the exact same truck (green 98 rcsb, cloth interior...everything) but make it a little faster (old one ran a 13.8 on its best run). But at the same time, I am open to new ideas. It might be nice to have something a little lighter and aerodynamic. Have any of you had any unique ideas of a cool LS1 candidate that you would mind sharing? I would really like to hear your ideas.

Thanks
