cooling fans

Hey guys about done with my swap but need to know if the cooling fans out of an f body are pullers or pushers dont know which direction they should run thanks for the help

Doesnt matter they run on DC, just switch the wires and you can make them pushers. I've done this on a couple other swaps. DC motors can run either way.

Be careful if you try to reverse the direction, that only works on some of the fans. I tried to do that on a v6 f-body fan and it didn`t go well. When I powered it up in reverse it had a huge arc as I connected the wire, the blades had the wrong curve so it didn`t push much air, and the motor started to smoke....so I think there may have been a diode in there and I was creating a short across it by connecting it backwards.

So just be careful, before you go through the work of mounting the fan make sure it will work if you reverse the direction.
