Anyone using GKI vette filter/regulators and having problems??

I have tried two of these and blown them both.I want to try a G.M filter,I just want to make sure the GKI filter is at fault.

I know this is an old thread but just in case people are searching I thought I would add my experience.

I have used 2 GKI GF1822 filters/regulators and had issues with both. The first blew the first time I turned the ignition on and the fuel pressure went sky high.

The second regulated the Fuel pressure to 53psi which is much less than the 58psi it should regulate to. I put in a WIX unit and everything is fine.

Use Wix or AC Delco only...
