ls1 into foxbody stang? anybody done this or know anyone who has? good idea, bad idea? easy swap, hard swap? i love my ls1 but im sick to death of the nickel and dime bs from my f-body. plus a 3000lb mustang with even a bolton ls1 would run 11's with ease 
and it already comes with a good rear

Re: ls1 into foxbody stang? Just like with any swap, almost anything is possible. Its just a matter of how much time, money and effort is required. I am not aware of anyone doing a similar swap, but it does not seem too hard. Some custom engine mounts would have to be fabricated and the usual wiring issues have to be addressed. Sounds like a neat swap!

Re: ls1 into foxbody stang? there was a LS1 for sale on ebay a few months ago... and the pic was in a fox body stang... don't know anything about the owner though.
But i have never heard of any actually doing the swap on this forum
