More Drive by Wire Questions I've got an 2002 LQ9, 6.0 out of an Escalade and it's drive by wire. I have the TAC module, but it came without a pedal assembly. The salvage yard gave me a later model (2006?) pedal assembly and the TAC module that gos with it.
-The 2002 Escalade has a 9 wire connection between the pedal and TAC.
-The pedal assembly they sent me has the later (2006, 2007) 6 wire connection between the pedal and TAC module.
Can I use the later, 2006, pedal and TAC module with my 2002 Escalade computer?
Or do I need to find a 2002 9 wire pedal assembly?
Or could I buy the 2002 accelerator pedal position sensor and swap that out on my 2006 pedal assembly?

The junkyard screwed up.
You need the 9 terminal pedal and the TAC module from an 01-02 truck.

The 2002 accelerator pedal position sensor is only about $30. Could I just swap that on the 2006 pedal. Or is the pedal stroke (or sensor rotation) different too?
BTW, Could you guys make me a a TAC module to pedal harness with hookups for cruise control?

Yes, we have the pedal to module harnesses for $50 each; whatever length you need. The cruise control wiring is not part of that harness though. It's in the other TAC module connector.
