Exclamation Help with part numbers?

Hey guys, I've thought about which forum to post this in, but since I'm "elbow-deep" into my L92 swap (still acquiring some of the parts), I figured that this is as appropriate a place as any...

I have a buddy who can get me a decent price on parts from GM, but the dealer that he's working with is making sure that we know that the parts I've been asking about are definitely NON-refundable. Since that's the case, I'm really hoping that a few of you might be able to confirm that I'm looking at the right parts to work with my 2008 six-point-two...

ECM - PN 12612384 (I'll probably keep the stock tune, at least for this summer)

Eng. harness - PN 25884908

DBW Pedal (Vette) - PN 25825421 (Anyone know if the Vette pedal will work w/ the SUV ECM?)

I've also heard that I'll need a TAC module, but when I asked him to find out about that piece, he sent the following reply:

The TAC module - They cannot find any part that fits that description. He talked with his lead tech and said that the Throttle actuation is controlled through the ecm, from the TPS on the pedal assy, then signal goes to actuator on the throttle body.

Do you have a part # for TAC module you are looking for?
This is (from what I understand) coming from a GM dealer... So now I'm scratching my head.

Also - is there anything I'm missing here (regarding the electronics)??

Thanks in advance guys - any help you can give would be very much appreciated...

Ok, I'll try.
What year engine is it. And which reluctor wheel does it have?
The pedals TAC modules, and ECMs are year and vehicle specific.

Thanks. The engine is a 2008, truck/SUV-series L92 (6.2L), so the reluctor is virtually certain to be a 58x.

I'm strongly hoping that the Vette pedal will work, as that will fit into my car quite a bit more easily... (Of course, since I'll be using a T-56 behind it, the Vette ECM might be a better fit, but I'd prefer not to give up the VVT...)

I think the newer ETC systems do not require a TAC, everything is internal to the ECU. I know the LS2 is that way. Vette pedal may not be compatible, unless the later model vette pedal will work.

Speartech would know, if no one else chimes in with a "Fur Sure."

Stu Cool is 100% correct....no TAC module on the new ones.

Cool

Cool. Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.

Just as a (hopefully useful) data point, I just got off the phone with a couple of local Chevy dealers, & both confirmed that the Vette DBW pedal should work with the Yukon/Denali/Escalade ECM (the 2nd dealer initially thought that it wouldn't, then compared their documentation on each part, and found that it was "the exact same document" in his words) - which should help with instances where the SUV pedal presents fitment issues. I hope that helps someone.

Again, thanks guys.
