Check engine light wiring?

When wiring my harness into the car is it just one wire from the engine harness to say an LED light somewhere in the cab of the car? Or is there going to be more to it than that?

2 wires, ones ignition, one goes to pcm, red side...pins in the 40 somethings? i'd double check the pcm pin location but other side of light was ignition when i got mine from speartech

If you're doing a custom dash, remember that the SES feed from the PCM is a ground signal. You will need to provide an independent ACC(+) input.
