DBW trottle is dead
I have a 2002 LQ9 swapped in to my Firebird -68. I have started the engine but the trottle is dead. I have check that I have +12V and ground into the TAC module. Should the trottle be activated when I turn on the ignition or only when the motor is running ? Do I have to calibrate the pedal? Does anyone have a clue what could be wrong. Thanks / Magnus

I do know when I bench tested a throttle body, I had to power up the PCM also and the two data lines connecting the PCM to TAC module have to be connected.
When you key on, the throttle body should move a little bit, and should work right away with movement of the pedal.
Also, if you push on the throttle blade with key on engine off, you should be able to feel the motor pushing against you.
good luck.
