You have to weld a couple of water passages to seal the head gaskets, and you have to drill out the head bolt holes to 1/2 inch. Then, you have to slot the head dowel holes on a end-mill. A little decking of the block brings the deck height to the same level...the intake will bolt right on. Then its just drilling the front of the head to get water to the radiator.
Thats the whole point. It won't work. On an LS1, the drivers side head sits forward. On a SBF, the passenger side head sits forward. It just doesn't work. He'll see when he tries to bolt on an intake.

I think the whole point of it is, is that it would cost probably $1200 or so to buy an aftermarket sbf heads that would have the same characteristics as a stock LS1 head, and not to mention being different. Its fairly easy to do, aside from the intake deal.
