Need a mellow-sounding muffler -- !
Hi Guys:
At the moment we are using an Eldebrock 55767 dual-in, dual-out muffler on our 1986 BMW E30-LS1. The car runs great, but the exhaust is too loud and too sharp: like a loud pickup. We're looking for a more mellow street rod sound. Our exhaust has headers to 4"dia cats on each side, (2) 2-1/4" pipes back to the muffler at the rear of the car. Got any suggestions?? See our swap at:

Thanks

Dynomax SuperTurbo would be extremely mellow.
I'm running Borla ProXS' on my Camaro. They are mellow below 3000rpm or so, and then get loud quick. It's a different loud than the old 40 series 2-chamber Flowmasters I originally had on it... higher pitched, not the classic muscle car sound (some of that is LS1 firing order i think). Idle and low RPM has the classic muscle car sound though.
