Default P1153 issues

Just got back from Power Tour in the 67, and we definately had a great time!
The only issue we have is the P1153 keeps coming up. What is causing this? Sensors are new AC Delco's.

Probably got the sensors wet in all that rain. How was power tour though?

Awesome! We found the leak in the trunk the night before we left, so the rain wasn't as spooky as it could have been. The car ran great, got 24mpg! It was a lot of fun seeing all the cars, and traveling through the countryside. Bit sad to see all the flooding though. We will definately do this again, but I wish the seats in the 67 were a little bit more comfortable. We met a lot of great people, and saw a lot of great cars. For the Rochester stop we had a lot of members of our car club do a day pass, and that was cool. We had 8 cars from the club for the Rochester to Madison leg, and that was pretty cool as well. I highly reccomend going on the Tour! As for the sensors, it started happening before we went on the tour, but now it happnes all the time. I need to pull the sensor and see if it looks alright.

Just wondering why the switching speed is falling off. If it is the distance from the exhaust ports, we may be able to retain a bit more heat with some wrap. Much cheaper than replacing our new sensors.

Done a bit of research, and there really isn't a good answer. Some things work for some people, some things work for others, some just get fed up and delete the code! Wish there was a definate answer to this one!

Yeah, my buddy with a 00 z28 with just headers and exhaust has to replace both o2 sensors about every 6 months. He now has the vette sensors and they seem to be lasting longer.
