I have been trying to figure out if I can use the LQ4 power steering pump when putting a 6.0L into my 1976 corvette, or if I just need to change to LS1 front accessories. I found that it didn't work on some other vehicles, but I didn't find anything definitive as far as C3 vettes go. So do any of you 6.0 liter guys know if the P/S pulley will clear? I appreciate your help. Thanks.

I took mine off, no power steering. But the alternator looks like it will be too high for hood clearance. I'm making my own alternator and AC compressor mount for my 68 vette.
The F body alternator and P/S pump clear everything OK. Several are using those. You will need to change to an F body balancer/pulley, water pump, and tensioner because the all the truck pulleys stick out farther.
