How fast is my car? According to my first launch video the car ran zero to 80 in about 9 seconds flat. The motor is a stock 2002 ls1 a4 trans. Just curious what your stock ls1's run comparatively. Will this number put me in the 13's in the ¼. I currently have a 10 bolt open rear 3:08 gears. The second run I tried to launch it up on the rpms but the right wheel went up in smoke. With a little roll out it hooked up and not even a chirp. I might install a locker in the future but am just curious how this compares to what you guys are running. Thanks in advance
Why not just take it to the dragstrip? Bench racing is never accurate.
Figure a stock 4th gen f-body weighs 3400 lbs, and that same engine/tranny/converter will be good for mid-high 13s stock, with 3.23 gears.

It will be taken to the track as soon as it is legal to drive there. I was just curious. I thank my car weighs a little less than the f-body but my big *** makes up for it +. I may also benefit from not having cats and a true dual exhaust. The ram air is probably more show than go. I under stand some of the auto's have a 2:73 gears. What are these running the 1/4 in?
The best this car ever ran with the 330 2 seed jetaway was a 16.9 1/4. It's interesting when I got put up against a 2002 ss I ran a 17.1 and he ran 13.2. That is almost 4 seconds faster. Apparently that was all done in the first 1/8 because the time slips showed that the cutlass ran 1 second faster than the camaro thru the last 1/8 mile. The 330 was fairly strong once you got it wand up. A total dog out of the hole would not even spin a tire.
