5.3 in a 49 pickup Currently putting a 5.3 from a silverado into my 49 3100 pickup.
got the mounts done am working on the trans tunnel. My question is about fuel.
The stock truck intake has the two fuel lines coming off the fuel rails. I am looking for a under the bed tank, i have some options. GTO style, Camaro style or such. taking suggestions also if you have any other ideas, No fuel cell in the bed though sorry.
Ok if I run the intank fuel pump what do I need to complete the system. My buddies have only worked with LS1 intakes so they didnt have the end all answer to the two fuel lines from the intake, in regards to the fuel regulator and fuel filter.
Any help will be great thanks.

the stock fuel tank would not work well with the old truck, its shaped for the frame of the new trucks and I would have to bend all the fuel line new and it was easier to buy a fuel cell and do that. The truck is done now. I have been driving it all over. I even put it on ebay to sell, but haven't sold it yet.
I was going to reply then saw it was finished. do you have any pics?
