69 camaro swap questions.
People are always saying they can make twice the power for half the money with a regular SBC, but you CAN'T. You can't add the engineering advances to the older engines. You can make more power with another engine, but you'll give up a bunch of driveability in the process. It's the overall package that the LS1 style engines offer, and in my opinion it's unbeatable!
My 91 Camaro spanks out 11's on every run, and people say "You can't do that with stock exhaust manifolds", and "OK, where's the nitrous bottle hidden".
They just don't understand until they've tasted it!

The fisrt row is the Vortec intake. The rest of the intake setups WILL support the high horsepower numbers and is probably more in line with what you are after.
