ECU Programing I finally drove my truck today! It was great. I drove it to a dealer so they could hook their expensive scanner up and tell me what's wrong with it. It runs great with the MAF disconnected (as long as you don't get into the throttle). If the MAF is connected it runs poorly, especially at idle.
It runs well enough to drive normally. The scanner revealed the ecu was looking for traction control. ?????? The guy who programed the ecu missed something I guess.
Anyway, I'm going to need to find someone in either Birmingham or Nashville that can reprogram it correctly. I don't want to send the ecu off. I want it done in the vehicle. That way I know it's done correctly.
It's an LM7 with a 4L60 from a 2004 Silverado. We used the factory harness.
