I am pulling a lq 4 motor out of a '01 2500. My plans are to put it in a '93 and up camaro, but I'm not sure what ecm and harness's I should use, the one out of the truck or the one that comes in the car. My goal is Ls 6 heads with manifold and a 6 speed tranny. I've read the heads are the same other than the combustion chamber and being 9:4to1 I figured the smaller chambered head would be the way to go, If I'm wrong about that please let me know. This is going to be my first build and I am hopeing to get 425hp with that block. Any information and combinations you can offer will help. Thank you.

 

I'm sure any harness would work. But if you go with the truck harness the injector pigatils are different. I'd say go with an ls1 harness. Just so you can have more injector choices
