I have had plenty of swaps in 240sx's! sr20de from both s13 and s14, sr20det big turbo, ka24det, ka24e and de with itbs, rb20det, rb25det, 3.2 inline 6 lseries motor. Hands down ls1/t56 has been the best swap IMO! For drifting its awesome, instant torque. It feels like when I had sr or ka in the front.

Why would you ruin the balance of that car by putting a boat anchor in the front of it? (Do you remember the infamous 5.0 into Miata swaps?) Great tire fryer...
PUT A 20DET in it (if your buds with an import guy get a Jap spec bluebird)
You can have a better hp/weight ratio for about the same bucks and a LOT less pain in the ***...
My buddy built one for a customer (240/ls1) and it was not as cool as you'd think it would be.
Real neat car to look at but handled a little weird.
