I am almost finished with the LS1/T56 swap into my 96 Impala SS. ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)

I used the 2001 LS1 harness and the 96 LT1 harness. I used the LT1 underhood fuses/relays/harness and mapped all of the wires from the LS1 harness. It cranks and my fuel pump comes on, but I get no spark and I am unable to connect with AutoTap to see what is going on. AutoTap is working fine (connected to another vehicle). I confirmed the wiring, BAT and GND at the DLC as well as checked the BAT, IGN and serial data connections at the PCM. I get nothing from AutoTap.![Sad](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_sad.gif)
How can I confirm that my PCM is good (anyone near Austin, TX have one I can try or a car I can plug mine into)? Can a dealer test it on the bench?
Thanks for any help or suggestions.
Scott

Check to make sure you are getting power to the pcm constantly. If your mil(ses) light is on you are, if not that could be it. We needed to run a fused wire to the PCM constant power pin.

I checked the grounds four ground and the three power wires on the PCM as well as the serial data and signal ground to the DLC. They are all OK and I do get a MIL lite when the key is on. If I unplug the PCM C1/C2 I do not get a MIL so I am assuming something is working.
At this point I don't know what to do except get another PCM to try or take my PCM to a dealer who as a Tech2 with an off car kit.
Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Scott

Problem solved. The person I purchased the engine and trans from neglected to mention that the PCM was new and had never been flashed.
Thanks,
Scott
