tapping in for vaccum
tapping in for vaccum hey guys, on my return style fuel setup, I need to pull a vaccum from the fuel regulator on my 97 vette fuel rail/regulator. Can I tap into the pcv vaccum line? where do most people pull a vacuum at?
I can only assume your useing a LS1/6 intake.
If so, you can tap (use a Tee) into the vacuum port on the back of the intake where the MAP sensor and Brake booster is, there is a port for the HVAC controls. You can either tee that or use the port that the HVAP purge valve on the front driver side, That one seem to responds fast to the engine load and dropping the vacuum faster than the port on the rear of the intake. That might be better for your vacuum fuel regulator.
