Default compatability question 00 vette computer/99 fbdy harness

need an answer quick. so yes u=i know were the search button is

i searched but barely. all the pinouts look the same, but it seems there are a few extra on the vette computer? how compatible are they as far as plug and play? i just dont want to get into a pinout changing party

Should be plug and play. The vette and F-body PCM`s are the same hardware for those two years/applications. The only difference is in the programming, so at worst it will work just fine if you have the PCM reflashed as a f-body PCM

do you remember offhand which wires were different? If it was just sensor grounds and 5v references it will work fine even if it still has the vette programming in it.

its going in a buggy im building. so i am going to have a few things took out anyway.

i believe it was just 5v ref. and sensor grounds. and of course the dbw throttle stuff.

Anytime. I would have looked up exactly what pins were different, but my computer crashed a couple weeks ago so I don`t have all of my wiring diagrams available right now. Haven`t had time to reload them

LOL. I actually have all of my wiring diagrams saved to an external HD, but the USB ports on this computer no longer work so I haven`t been able to reload them.

I do have a lot of wiring info in the stickies, but I had a bunch of other wiring diagrams on the computer that were too big to upload to the stickies.
