For the Heddman Hustler 45036 Long Tube Headers did you have to modify the frame or anywhere else to get them to fit? I don't see these headers as being available anymore however.

They happened to fit in perfectly the way I had the car done with non-setback Engine Plates.

Yea I think they stopped making them a while back.

Updated some info on the first post. If anyone from the Gbody Forum is in here and has asked me anything about what I've posted there, I was kicked out of there a while back because the admin are a bunch of smooth brained keyboard warrior cucks that are scared of wiring and technology. The 305 SBC is the end all be all apparently in these cars and the LS Engines are the devil.

When you build something cooler than they can understand, they big mad. I'm here tho.

They must not like more power than they'd ever see from a 305, while still keeping it all GM.... oh well....

Just people who think the Gbody shouldn't be unaltered from the factory perfect form apparently... technology and progress is bad.

Thanks for the update. Let's LS swap a Ferrari and post all the details on a Ferrari forum.
I wonder if an AI system could generate a picture of an old Ferrari with a supercharged BB sticking out of the hood. That would be a glorious pic to post on their forum.

Oh anything is possible. Some people have gotten good with doing AI stuff.

That Gbody forum has the crowd of guys in their late 50's and up who grew up with them cars so they are still trying to live the high school days. That whole generation is like that. I'm a bit younger than that so I don't fit in. I grew into learning the LS stuff because that was my high school days. We had faster fun.

There's worse tho, the Mopar crowd. You want to talk about sensitive and pissy. Go talk about something Mopar being LS swapped. You'll get death threats.

LS4 swap a 308 GTS. Do it with a manual like the guy with the Fiero did. The Ferrari drive train could be sold to fund the project.

I'm 73 and think their heads are firmly up their asses. People like that are in their own little worlds. I see the LS as evolution from the SBC, and a natural step in improving GM cars, but also anyone who likes efficiency in their cars.

I would love to do 83/88 Monte Carlos SS LS swap. Trouble is anything that is decent for a starting point the owners think they are made out gold.
73 years old Atsma? Man your are old! LOL.

15 years ago when I bought this car they were reasonably priced. Prices have definitely gone up, many of these have been chopped into dirt cars or ragged out.

Just posting because I can.

My post #21,000 in this forum and over 15 years owning this car driving it with a solid setup. Tons of fun to drive.

Nice car! Which do you prefer to drive, this or your C5?

The SS is raw power and with the T56 6spd it's tons of fun. The car stops quick and handles well.

My C5Z06 with the mods it has is no slouch either. These cars are light and very nimble. Pretty much a Go-Kart with Leather Seats and AC.

Both are fun to drive.

Thats my favorite color of C5.
Also thanks for all the quick replies with knowledge, both on this forum, facebook and the MonteSS website. The LS swap / G Body world is new to me.
