yeah..honestly all that was wrong with the other car was there was a dent in the back bumper. The guy driving the car was a complete *******, he didn't even ask if i was ok and jumped out his car cussing at me even though im the one that hit a pole head on . I can understand him being mad but i wouldn't get out of my car cussing at someone if they had ran into a pole and their car was smashed. Also my insurance told me that all of a suddenly he is saying he was injured during the accident even though his car had minimal damage and he didn't hit anything else. Also looked up his record at my job and this jackass had a dui and a driving on suspension charge like 2 years ago so he is far from a great driver.

Get your stuff off the car now! If the car is not in your possession, you'll be stuck buying it back from the insurance company, unless they are cool about letting you get at it. My 99 was heavily modded and I bought my car back and then sold it as a complete drivetrain and made a few grand from some of the mods.

Pretty low mileage. BTW, 99's are easier to tune than 98s so that is a bonus.

what did the estimate the damage at? i am asking because i had am 00 camaro that was hit in the same way, only on the passengers side. i wound up having 1300 in parts and 500 to fix the frame rail. took a lot of time though. only an idea.

Damn seeing an SS hood makes me cringe....

As for the guy above me... there's no way that's anywhere near 1300 damage.... That hood is 1000 bucks.. a headlight is 250 and a bumper cover is 300...

I had them before my vert on MR2 and effectively have that now on the vette. I like the vert better; its more open feeling and a push of a button is nice touch too if it unexpectedly starts to rain. Still, T-Tops are muuuch better than a sunroof.

well the front core was actually bent all the way back to where it almost hit the intake so actually the damage was pretty bad. Also my car had alot of miles on it so they didn't have it valued very high
