dyno numbers I went up to RPM in Garner yesterday for some more tuning. Turns out my clutch was slipping around 5500 rpm. The tuner took the motor up to 7200rpm. Final numbers were 501 hp 448 tq. The numbers should be more around 590-600, when I pull my tranny out and figure out whats gonig on with my clutch I will go back up for another tune. We did some tuning on the street and he smoothed out the tune, no more surging, no more bucking, its a whole new car now. I tell ya, its an animal! Holy crap this thing pulls harder than it did on N20! Hopefully I can get the tranny out this weekend. Someone told me to take the shim out from behind the slave and see if that works. I will keep you updated.
oh, info on the motor:
414 iron block, LS7 heads, GMPP carb style intake, aarons elbow, big *** cam, forged internals. Motor made just under 700 at 7k on the engine dyno.
