i have a 1998 navy blue trans am convertible and i was looking at new tops but wasnt sure which color was the factory top. Its either the dark beige/ black or the beige/black. gm uses the word taupe on the option list.

I think dark beige/black would probably be the one that is closest to the factory color. Mine came with the taupe colored top and it looked like the dark beige/black. I ended up going with black when I replaced it though.

If you can figure out what top colour is RPO # 56T (Alabaster), I would gladly take note and extend thanks.

I also thought the colour was Taupe.
