Convertible glass needs reinstalled
My 99 vert was purchased with the glass out of the top. I had no clue this was as expensive to fix. I found that it is two parts. I have the glass but don't see it fitting the hole any more. I'm looking for a cheap fix that will still look good. I thought a bout tinting plexy glass just for now. I heard the glass half of the top was 300 and install by a fabric shop was 200. If any one has incountered this please let me know how you chose to fix it.

Yeah my top is in way too good of shape not to try resealingin it. Did you all have to disessemble the top to get stress off the curtain. Seems to be pulled severely tight on mine. I know 3m makes good stuff does it dry clear. Simone also suggested liquid nail.

I put the top about halfway up to take the stress off, then glued the top of the window and held it in place with duct tape until it was cured. the bottom of mine was only separated about halfway so I glued it after I put the top back up.
