Parade duty. Advice? I've been asked to participate in a parade with my T/A. 
This will be the first time I will be making use of the boot. Any advice or tips, things I should be careful with, etc?
I'll try not to launch anyone over the trunk with the 6 speed and Tick clutch setup.

Be careful of people sitting on the boot, you don't want the plastic tabs breaking off. I just saw a used boot go for $350 on ebay last week.
I got asked by my girlfriends mom to let her younger daughter and 2 friends use my car for a music video project for school. I wouldn't have anything to do with it lol

Good advice about the boot. It is strong but not enough to support the full load of 100+ pounds. Have the girl(s) sit mostly on the front part where the top of the seats are. It will distribute the weight better and should be no problem.
Also, this is very important. If the girl(s) is wearing a short skirt, try to keep your eyes in front of you and not the rear view mirror. You don't want to rear end a car or the marching band in front of you

Put the boot on for the first time today...I can't believe how little support there is; it's basically resting on the tabs. I put a board wrapped in a towel under the center piece, towards the front of the boot since there is something solid below it. That, along with a lot of other towels makes it seem quite a bit more sturdy.
