Replacing top Finally took the plunge and began replacing my top. The original one was in pretty good shape for being 13 years old but a black top didn't match my color scheme.
A couple of hiccups along the way. The headliner has two straps that go down behind the rear speaker seats and are a gigantic pain in the *** to reach but I was able to leave the headliner attached to bow #4 so I didn't have to unhook them. I hope that doesn't create a problem during re-install. The second was with the staples provided. They're some weird gauge and don't fit my staple gun. I thought, no problem, I'll just run down to the good ol' hardware store and pick some up that fit my gun. Ya, no. Couldn't find stainless ones anywhere so had to order them online. They'll be here tomorrow so I can start the install of the new top.
I guess I'm venting. I'll post up pics of the new top once it's installed.

Ya, I'm doing it myself. I marked up where the original top was located on the tack strip but I fully expect It'll take several tries since the replacement top isn't exactly the same as the original.
