Heyso i just bought this car at a great price. Needs a few things. One is the top seems loose looking at the back. Does anyone know how i can fix this.
1. Do i unscrew front by windsheild n pull a but tighter.
2. Undo track in truck area and re-staple. Seems like window had to much slack too..
Any help would be very appreciated ...

I had wrinkles also, but it wasn't as severe as yours. I unbolted the rear of top from body, removed staples, tightened it up and re-stapled. That was many years ago and it's still good.

So I've been watching videos. And it seems like if I did what you did and remove that piece and take the staples out and just pull it down maybe a half-inch and reattach it would tighten up .... I was wondering if I do it from the front and pull the slack up

The top is attached to the bow in the rear of the car (at the top of the window portion) so pulling from the front won't take up any slack in the rear.

Happy is right, it has to be done at the back. The top material is permanently glued to the front latching bar.

Yeah i agree and i took it all apart. I had two fo it twice to get it right. But hey i did it. The back window had to much slack. Its mich better. Thanks for all who replied..
