Default 1st Show of 2017 gets "Best of Class"

With my C4 getting the wheels re-finished I entered my first show of the year with the T/A 'vert. I was in the BOPC class (Buick Olds Pontiac Cadillac) and won it! This was a judged show, not participant's choice. Usually newer cars, even though mine is now 16 years old, don't get the top award at judged shows but today was my day. I really had that thing detailed. It was obviously noticed. I'll include some photos, especially some of the other cars in my class along with some of the more unusual cars. I try to take photos early before all the people get in the way.

im shocked you still run 16s and the flat hood . Some 17s or 18s and a raptor hood would be nice

I'm a 'stock' guy to the core with this T/A, right down to the AC/Delco battery. I'm the original owner. I did 'spring' for an LS1 oil cap but still have the original. I was actually quite unhappy when I couldn't get Goodyears in 16" any longer. The BFG G-Force are OK. Not much choice in the matter.

Well deserved!!!
She always looks good!

Consider the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3s next time you are looking for tires.

I run them on a 2002 Lexus SC430 and really like the handling and quiet tread on the interstate.

Thanks!!
I just bought those Michelins for my Mustang two weeks ago. Pricey but worth it. Unfortunately they are not available for my Trans Am in the original 16" size. Don't get me wrong about the BFG G-Force. They are fine tires as I have them on my C4 as well. I just wanted the Goodyears.

I've always been impressed with how original you've kept your car. When I first signed up here, mine was completely original and I remember you remarking how there weren't many unmolested examples left.

It's nice seeing stock examples still bringing home the trophies. Congratulations!

Thank you very much! Even fewer 'stock' remaining now.

Chevyguy2001, thank you too!
