Default T/A visits the FL Panhandle

A bit over 1,200 miles total on this 5 day getaway. The Trans Am was flawless once again. No oil added either which was nice. I changed the PCV along with a fresh oil change right before we left. The new PCV really helps our oil consumption as we learned from this wonderful forum over the years.
The weather here in the panhandle was still a bit too cool for what we hoped for (warm sun) but the 60 degree temps let us put down the top on one day anyway. I'll write a little under each photo to describe the trip..

We stopped at a Buc-ees in Auburn, Alabama on the way south to grab some lunch and snacks.

The view of the Gulf from our motel balcony in Ft Walton Beach

Sand dunes and Okaloosa Pier behind our motel

We walked the beach each morning

We visited here on our first day. Not much fishing activity with the high winds.

The dunes along the drive from Ft Walton Beach to Destin

The same road coming back along the water.

Sushi platter enjoyed one night. Really fresh here along the Gulf. We can't get this in the mountains.

Parking area along the Gulf of Mexico

Boardwalk across from the pier on Panama City Beach. We went on this 'Sky Wheel'.

Driving along the Gulf near Navarre Beach.

Cool water tower on Pensacola Beach. Another nice boardwalk was here too.

The T/A likes sand dunes, whether Cape Cod or Florida.

Gourmet donuts to start our drive home.

Great pictures as always! The car looks like it's on its first road trip right off the showroom floor; always the Gold Standard for cars that actually get driven!

Those donuts though...just looking at them has necessitated a 30 minute increase in my Monday workout.

Beautiful car and pics! I'd love to take my 4th gen on a road trip like that, maybe some day. We visit Northwest Florida a few times a year.

What are the specs on the car?

Thank you! The car is 'stock' except for the wheels which I had to replace in 2022 due to excessive leaking by the beads. I hit 84,000 miles on this trip and I am the original owner. Original top, original paint, nothing is different except for the normal repairs and maintenance needs. I still get the GM batteries too. I'm currently riding on BFG Comp 2 A/S G-Force rubber. They are my second set and are a wonderful choice for the car.
