Default Quiet winter day for a drive

50 degrees and sunny yesterday. No one on the roads here in rural western NC for the most part. Might as well go for a nice drive.

Yup, looks like a good day for a cruise from those pictures. Should only be 6-8 more weeks before the season starts for us northerners. Gives me plenty of time to dream. Lol

thanks for sharing

I'm embarrassed to say that I have yet to get my T/A off the battery tender and out onto the road this spring as it is "trapped" on the top of my lift and my Cutlass is stuck under the lift. The wife's booth at Painted Tree was suddenly closed a few weeks ago and we had to vacate, so now the space behind the Cutlass is filled with display furniture from the booth trapping the Cutlass. I finally received the stoker crank for the Cutlass a few weeks ago (2+ year wait) and was planning on re-arranging my cars to begin working on it this summer, but I'm stuck until we can sell the furniture. Hope to resolve this situation in the next month, but its shaping up to be a short season for top-down enjoymeent. In the meantime, my daughther ran over a tree branch and it punched out the radiator and condensor and cooling fans on her 300C, so I've got that to repair this weekend. Its one thing after another. I'll get there, just got to keep knocking things off the TO-DO list.

I’d put all that booth **** at the curb with a free sign on it. I’d put the cutlass in a second garage ( if u can afford a lift, u can afford a second garage ) and the 300c would be a one day repair or else its going to the shop.

nothing would stand between me and my fbody 👍

good luck brother

LOL, I appreciate your enthusiasm for the f-bods. However, the furniture wasn't mine to dispose of. But between relocating some items my wife wanted to keep around the house and dumping the rest on CL, the area is now clear and the T/A will be hitting the road tomorrow. The 300C repairs took less than a week, and as a bonus I was able to much more easily replace the bad AC compressor while I was in there and get that going too. Since my daughter drives it, I don't trust shop mechanics to work on it. Regardless of how much my lift may have cost 18 years ago, its still very satisfying to save ~$2000 in labor charges (roughly the cost of the lift.......or in more present terms, it'll more than pay for my disc brake conversion parts for my Cutlass). Besides, its not like I don't have any other fun car to drive in the meantime.
