Anybody ever put any type of rollbar or anything in a convertible trans am? I like the look that the convertible saleen mustangs have with that bar. Do they make anything like that for our cars?

I don't care for the looks of the roll bars that I've seen for the f-bodys. From behind it reminds me of a dune buggy or jeep. I'm wondering if I could have one custom made that could be approved to run in the 1/4 mi.

I think they would look better with a single bar going up to the crossover bar and having it all chrome plated. I don't know if this is could be legal for racing.

Any input would be appreciated.

I've had the same thought for a couple years know but everyone I talk to says that I can't get the look I want and be legal. My thought on how to due it was to take a 3rd brake light bar and modify it so a tubular frame would be on the inside of it.
