I am NOT an expert, but here is what I've heard:
Haartz makes the tops and Wolfstein's Ragg Topp is the only product they recommend.
Ragg Topp makes a cleaner and also makes some sort of seperate sealer
There are quite a few things (certain soap and detergent types) that will actually harm the top.
One of my friends has a 2000 Vette Vert that he leaves outside year round --- he has never put anything on the top but water, and his top looks fine.
Some recommend large lint brushes available at Pet Stores, and others speak of vacuuming off the top --- lint and dirt can get into the fabric and mess it up.
And here is my contribution --- first nite I had my Vert, a cat slept on the top --- maybe his weight will make it sag, maybe he'll claw through it --- so now I put 6 mouse traps on top every night...a neighbor did it, and after one snap, the bothersome cat stayed away...
