Is it worth it to do suspension mods... On a vert? This is for my girlfriend's CE Vert. She is going to Autox it next month and I was wondering how verts respond to suspension mods.

I don't really think so. With DMS springs and new shocks my car handles great and corners flat. Unless you are doing autocross or road racing I don't really see the need for it. Lots of people gripe about verts feeling flexy, but I just do see it. Maybe if I drove a HT car back to back with the vert I would.
Absoloutly worth it. While I don't AutoX, I relaced the fatory shocks with Bilstein HDs and added a set of Strano bars and the difference in night and day. The car handles a much better as well as significantly improving the ride quality. Call Sam Strano and he will guide you to the right products to achieve your suspension goals.
