BMR subframe connector help

BMR subframe connector help well i am about to install my bmr sfc and my dad was woried about when he will weld them to the flore pan about it heatin up the carpet on the inside of the car and possible catching fire
anybody i need your advice pull up the carpet or are we woried about nothing

Not sure what kind of welding your dad was planning on using, but I have been told to stay away from tig welding and whatever you do, be sure to remove both battery cables to keep from frying the car's computer. Now, these may just be old wives tales (nothing against old wives) but I thought I would mention them. Hopefully someone with more accurate information/experience will speak up. Mine were professionally mig welded and they did not have to do anything to the carpet.
You should have them mig welded and you will have no problems. You do not need to pull the carpet just pay attention when you are installing them and you should be fine.
