Something coming through the top?
Something coming through the top? I'm gonna take a closer look later, but it seems there are some sharp "I-don't-know-what's" around the back of the top before it angles downward, around the corners, like something small is trying to come through... This happen to anyone here?

Staples?? Im sure thats what it is. Lay a rag over them and hammer them in lightly. They do this because the top moves around and pulls them out. There is no fix for this as I know of.
Thanks... I did not remove the top (I was scared), but I felt in between the top and the brace through the rear glass with the top halfway down. Though I could not see, what I felt was just as you described... Staples. Is there an easy way to get to them without removing the top? Hammering the top by hitting over the canvas (WITH the rag underneath, between the staple and the top) would be very bad? Or should I really take the top off (SCARED SHITLESS)? Dont beat it with a hammer, just slightly tap them to drive them back in. If you pull the top back to expost the staples you can put new staples in and they will last for several months or a year depending on how much you put the top down. I would say just tap them back in, not beat them in, lol. Hell if you can push them in with your finger that would be the only reason to pull the top back and put new ones in. "(Happy Gilmore) Just tap tap tapparoo".
