Default Share your sound system set ups?

I may scrap my monsoon and get go a different route but just want to get some ideas from you guys. I wanna keep my 12 disk and my wheel controls. I think 3 of my 4 speakers are toast so I'll upgrade those for sure. I just dont want to have to drop 600.00 to make my vert sound good. Oh and I dont need subs in the trunk or anything just a crisp sound with some bass.
Thanks,
Matt

If you want to keep it stealth and get a good sound quality improvement a simple bi-wired set of replacement door speakers is all you need to do.

The back speakers do almost nothing. They are free air so you get no bass from them. Using a decent aftermarket back there is ok to boost sound volume but you'll pick up zero bass.

From there you have a deck (theft target), amp (money), and subs (oh god don't ask, lots of money in a vert.

Replace your door speakers, use a little dynamat and shoddy to keep the panel from buzzing, and see what you think after that. Just be sure to biwire them.

rockford fosgate, JL audio and kicker componet speakers are all very nice. If u want the very best although pricey go with MB Quart. You can find a relitivly nice set of componet 6.5's for a shade over $200. With speakers generally you do get what u pay for. Also a very nice componet set I almost forgot about is Memphis.

I'm running Bostons in the front doors and two tweeters per side (one thats separate with the car and the one that came with the new speakers). I have a small Alpine amp and two simple JL W0's in a box facing downwards. My nitrous bottle is mounted on top. Not much trunk space but it bumps very well. Oh I also have an Alpine HU and 6-disc changer as well.
