tonneau cover
tonneau cover Hi all. 1995 t/a vert with padded lit roll bar. Was looking to pickup a tonneau cover used since I would have to cut it to fir the roll bar. I dont want to buy a new one to chop it up. Even if the fiberglass is damaged lemme know Im still interested.
PLus those who have them besides not being able to put your top up....duh..... what do you like/dislike bout them?

Likes:
1. The looks the car gets with it on (why else would you buy one?)
2. A little bit of clutter in the back seats (groceries, etc) is better protected.
Dislikes:
1. It is a PIA for one person to install and remove it.
2. It difficult to find a safe place to store it when it's not on the car.
3. Don't get caught out in bad weather with it. I am not sure it would fit in the rear seat area even if you unbolted the two halves. Even then, you would need some kind of protection for the paint.
Bottom Line:
I absolutely love mine and think it is a tremendous addition to the car!

dont buy it unless you have the money, you have to purchace it like $400, ship it like $150, modified it because you have your light weight roll bar and paint it like $250, mayne your looking about 8 bills total.
thansk sav. but I would do all that work myself since I used to paint cars etc. Thats why I was looking for a used on even if it was damaged I cud repair it and wudnt feel bad modifying it.
