Hypothetical Question. Everyday I'm seeing more and more of these 2007 Shelby Cobras on the streets of Shreveport and the dealerships seem to have them all over the place .
My question is , will a Magnason street blower with built in intercooler mounted on my stock 2002 Z/28 convertible that is an automatic with 3.23 gears keep up with one of those new Cobras ? My Z runs 13.20's at 105 MPH now with only a lid & Magnaflow .
I know sooner or later I'm going to find one sitting next to me at a red light and I can't stand turning down a race even if I think I might get beat.

Most of the guys who can afford one, can't drive so will easily beat them off the line if you just add a 3000 stall and some decent tires. Throw a blower on, and it will take a while for them to reel you in, if ever.

Thats funny , but come to think of it your probably right.Besides , I just read in the Car & Driver road test that the convertible version could only muster a 13.40 at 108 MPH. As a matter of fact they said the 2003 & 2004 cobra was faster .
