Default latch problems

The driver side convertible top latch on my 02 camaro doesnt fully engage which leaves the d/s of the top raised slightly. no matter how hard i try i cant get the latch to click and stay down. anyone else have this problem and know a fix.

Thanks for the reply, but after spending some time looking at it i found that the guide pin above the latch was digging behind the mounting hole and not in it. easy fix and now everything lines up and latches perfect.

You can also adjust the actual hook that is on the latch. Its set with a set screw.
