whats the differance between the frc corvettes and the regular ones i know the look on the frc is like a z06 but any thing else?

 

frc corvettes had the same ls1 and were rated with the same hp/tq as the other coupe,and convertible corvettes.Also the frc's only came in a 6spd no automatic choice, and all came with the z51 suspension, and were available with less options than the other vettes wich is another reason they were lighter.

 

My FRC at full weight and an almost full tank of gas is 3260lbs with me in it. Only option the car has is magnesium wheels.

 

coupe - 6spd or 4spd auto. least rigid 350hp
Vert - 6 spd or 4spd auto. 2nd most rigid 350hp
FRC/Z06 - 6 spd only. most rigid. 385/405hp for Z06, 350hp for FRC

 

He pretty much said it all, without me in the car and a half a tank of gas my FRC weighed 3160. Oh yeah and the FRC is the most sexy vette ever
