electric water pump good or bad idea????

electric water pump good or bad idea???? im thinking about going with an electric water pump.....has anyone done this yet?i dont drive the car every day but i dont want any problems or over heating....ive heard they are as reliable as the stock one????

Re: electric water pump good or bad idea???? I'm putting one on my C5 very soon. The unit should be good for quite a bit of miles. There are tons of people that use electric waterpumps on their daily drivers, and have used one for years. I think you'll be fine with an EWP.
