FRC questions?
Alright I never though a corvette would be on my list but with recent FRC prices Ive seen on ebay they seem to be a nice option. First off how much weight can you take off one. Can you make it weigh sub 3000lbs with the removal of the cats and seats. I think the thought of a FRC that weighs practically nothing compared to many other american cars. Is it possable for a 420whp FRC trap 120? I think my ultimate goal for the car is sub or as close to 3k lbs as possable and trap 120+.

I had mine weighed with 1/2 tank of gas and it was 3075. (without driver)
Almost no weight reduction done. Headers. GTO spares (skinnies) on front and no front sway bar. There was even a gallon of drinking water in the back I didn't bother to take out. Also has the DTE diff brace which adds about 18 lb.
Ran 11.750 @ 119

Go with 4.10 gears. I swear it immediately knocked off half a second and increased trap speed by 6 mph for me. I have the c5 rear with hardened output shaft and c6z clutch packs. Launching at 5500 rpm with drag radials. There's still enough rpm left at the end to trap near 130 in 4th gear, too.
