On page 5 of the above newsletter there is an article about the new Gen IV small-block.
In short it will have the following:
* 3 valve per cylinder
* 6.3L 500hp
* Displacement on demand
* Cam phaser on the timing chain (think VTEC)
* 7000 rpm redline in the Corvette, stable to to 8,000.
I think this is the most credible information I've seen so far.

Re: Corvette / Gen IV Engine Info DAYUM! thats some tricky stuff. Glad to see GMs going to still keep it OHV, but they're addin some tweeks and twists to the design.
